本校の１学期が今日で終わりました。先生が「今日は授業の後、教室の清掃をしましょう」と学生に声をかけたところ、クラスの学生全員がそのお手伝いをしてくれました。自分たちが勉強する教室を自分たちできれいにする、これも日本文化の美徳のひとつです。

The first semester of our school ended today. When the teacher asked the students to “clean the classrooms after class today,” all the students in the class helped with the task. Cleaning up the classrooms where we study by ourselves is one of the virtues of Japanese culture.
